Dan Youra is a master at the art of political cartooning. His colorful caricatures conjure up national politicians, media personalities, celebrities, and world leaders. No person is too lofty to evade the slings and arrows of Dan‛s graphic editorials.

Dan‛s fans review his art: ”Fun!” Sarah Palin; ”Entertaining!” Mitt Romney; ”Very Interesting!” Ron Paul; “Thanks for sharing your talents, Paul Ryan; ”witty and very unique,” Reince Priebus. ”Dan draws fun and beautifully portrayed political cartoons,” comments Cathy McMorris Rodgers, the highest ranking, Republican woman in the US Congress. She adds, “Dan is a huge talent for the conservative cause!”

Dan‛s graphic commentaries on national and international politics are captured in edgy, digital art. A flick of his finger can elevate the downtrodden or bring down the mighty. He does not dodge hot issues. Dan‛s idols are two of the twentieth century‛s greatest, political cartoonists. Bill Mauldin urged editorial cartoonists to be “stirrer-uppers.” Jules Feiffer defined the two most important qualifications needed for a good political cartoonist as “basic intelligence” and “ill will.”

Dan‛s unique skill is that he can say more in 10-seconds with no words, than talking heads, columnists, and Youtube channelers. “Dan makes you laugh and he makes you think – and we need more of both today,” said Luke Esser, a past chairman of the Washington State Republican Party. Dan spices up the national, political stew with “acerbic” wit and “superlative” art on his two websites––YouraMedia.com and TrumpToon.com.

He was the first recipient of a international Fulbright Scholarship from his alma mater University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. After a year in Latin America he studied international relations for three years at The Ohio State University graduate school. He worked as an editor of Current Thought on Peace and War at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Dan lives in Washington State, where he keeps his pen sharpened for the next hot issue.

Dan Youra is a writer and illustrator, who founded Youra Media in 1986. He is the author of The Carbon Book and has more than 40 years experience in publishing books and magazines. He started his first website in 1995.
